Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are now offering lenders to originate eligible loans without appraisals. Property information is physically collected on-site by data collectors utilizing Fannie and Freddie’s data set in lieu of an appraisal.
Nationwide’s Property Data Reports are completed by trained real estate professionals utilizing state-of-the-art technology throughout the entire nation. In the small subset of PDRs that require upgrading to an appraisal, Nationwide assigns to local appraisers that utilize the initial Property Data Report to complete a 70/1004 hybrid appraisal without the need to go back out to the property.
